Using Index Funds


Our SPDRs signals can be used to trade Rydex funds:

  1. Rydex funds (which mimic the S&P 500's performance) could be bought once a "Long" signals is generated; these funds could be sold when "Cash" or "Short" signals are generated.
  2. Rydex funds (which trade inversely to the S&P 500's performance) could be bought when a "Short" signal is generated; when "Cash" or "Long" signals are generated, these funds could be sold.

Rydex mutual funds that track the S&P 500 index are listed below. Some of these funds track the S&P 500 index with a gearing of 200%. This means that the funds will gain 2%, if the S&P 500 index moves up 1%.

Rydex Funds which could be traded when a Long signal is issued:

  • Rydex S&P 500 - RYSPX. Provides investment results that match the performance of the S&P 500 index. Fund Inception date - May 31,2006.
  • Rydex Dynamic S&P 500 - RYTNX. Provides investment results that correlate to 200% of the S&P 500 indexes' performance. Inception date - May 19, 2000.

Rydex Funds which could be traded when a Short signal is issued:

  • Rydex Ursa Fund - RYURX. Performs in reverse to the S&P 500 Index. Was created in January 07, 1994.
  • Rydex Dynamic Tempest 500 Fund - RYTPX. Designed to correspond to 200% of the inverse performance of the index. Created in 2000. Inception date is May19, 2000.

Trading NASDAQ 100 Rydex Funds

Our QQQ Signals can be used to trade Rydex funds:

  1. Rydex funds (which mimic the NASDAQ 100''s daily performance) could be bought once a "Long" signals is generated; these funds could be sold when "Cash" or "Short" signals are generated.
  2. Rydex funds (which trade inversely to the NASDAQ 100's daily performance) could be bought when a "Short" signal is generated; when "Cash" or "Long" signals are generated, these funds could be sold.

  • Rydex OTC- RYOCX. Seeks to return 100% of the NASDAQ 100 indexes daily movement. Founded in February 14, 1994

Rydex Funds which may be traded when a Short signal is issued:

  • Rydex Arktos- RYAIX. Is designed to perform inversely to the daily performance of the NASDAQ 100, which is similar to the Venture 100 index. Established in September 1988. Inception date- September 3, 1998.
  • Rydex Venture 100- RYVNX. 200% of the inverse performance of the NASDAQ 100 index is it's performance benchmark. Created in May 2000. Inception date- May 23,2000.

Trading Rydex DOW Funds

Our DIA signals can be used to trade Rydex funds:

  1. Rydex funds (which mimic the DJI's performance) could be bought once a "Long" signals is generated; these funds could be sold when "Cash" or "Short" signals are generated.
  2. Rydex funds (which trade inversely to the DJI's daily performance) could be bought when a "Short" signal is generated; when "Cash" or "Long" signals are generated, these funds could be sold.

Rydex mutual funds that track the DJI index are listed below. Some of these funds track the DJI index with a gearing of 200%.This means that the funds will gain 2%, if the DJI index moves up 1%.

Rydex Funds which could be traded when a Long signal is issued:

  • Rydex Dynamic DOW - RYCVX. The investment attempts to provide investment results that will match the performance of a specific benchmark, 200% of the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Inception date- February 20, 2004.

Rydex Funds which could be traded when a Short signal is issued:

  • Rydex Inverse Dynamic DOW Fund - RYCWX. The investment attempts to provide investment results that will match 200% of the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Inception date - February 20, 2004.
