About our Email Alerts

We've compiled below a listing of the most popular questions we've been asked.  If you have a question, chances are someone else has asked it already and it is listed in our FAQ's.  And of course, you can always Contact Us via email if you don't find the answer you are looking for in these pages.

In order to receive email-alerts, you have to submit your email address:

  • Use the "Manage Email Alert" link in the "Current Signals" table on the signals page;
  • On the "Email Alert" page enter your email address you would like to receive alerts and press the "Submit Email" button;
  • Make sure your email address is displayed correctly and the status of the alerts reads "active".

We used to allow our customers to receive Email Alerts only when the signal had changed. Because of recurring problems, we had to turn that feature off.

If an email account was non-functional or full, a customer would not get the email on that day. If we send out alerts on a daily basis, the customer is more likely to notice missing an email alert. Therefore, we changed the system.

Yes, you can have the Email Alerts sent to your cellular phone or pager as long as they have set up an email address for you. Most of the cell phone providers have "Email to SMS" which receives email message as SMS text message. All you have to do is to find out your cell phone email address. As a rule it should be something like PhonNumber@WirelessProvider.com. As an example for Verizon clients it will be PhonNumber@vtext.com, for AT&T it will be PhonNumber@txt.att.net and etc.

Simply enter the email address for your cellular phone or pager and the alerts will be sent to that address.

Our signals are usually published during the trading hours, and our Email Alerts are generally sent out right after a new signal was generated. In addition we send summary email alert after the market closes for those traders who prefer to trade our signals at the market open on the next tradingday.

We send summary email alerts everyday after the market closes - even no signals were generated.

If you did not receive evening summary alert, you should visit our signals area and check to see if the signals were updated.

Also check the status of your email account and make sure there are no typos in the email you registered with us. If everything is correct and you are still not getting emails on a regular basis, you could try to submit a different email address just in case your current email provider is filtering some of your email.

If you are still not getting the alerts, try sending a test email to yourself, in order to determine whether this might be the cause.

You should understand that we provide email alerts as a complimentary service to our website. We were providing signals through our website well before we offered any email alerts. We only added email alerts as a free complimentary service at the beginning of 2003.

There are many reasons for which an email from our server may not reach its intended recipient. The main reason is due to SPAM filtering. There are many providers who filter out emails from anyone who isn't in the recipients address list. Also, many people don't receive our emails simply because their email account has gone over quota. All of these problems are beyond our control and sometimes even our customer's control.

This is why we send email alerts every day, whether there are changes in our signal or not. That way people are more likely to notice that they didn't receive our email and check the site manually. On our web site, our signals always has the most recent update. If you ever miss an email, it is best to check the site, as the information posted there is always current.

No, we do not currently allow more than one Alert Email per account. However, if you may fit two email addresses within 45 characters length then you may submit them separated by semicolon as one.

Example:
address1@gmail.com;address2@gmail.com
(total length of the two email addresses above is 37 characters which is within the limit)
